Carlson Procare speeds up billing and helps more patients hit their treatment goals

Carlson Procare is a 10-provider practice with 5 locations, based in Meriden, CT. The company’s founder and CEO, Ben Carlson, recently spoke with us about the ways Prompt has transformed their business. In short, using Prompt has helped them operate more efficiently and profitably.

When asked his favorite Prompt feature, Ben highlighted the Plan of Care compliance tool. They use it to send text reminders every Thursday to underbooked patients who then book directly from their phones. 

The practice saw an immediate upward trend in patient awareness and engagement with their care plans: Within 6 weeks, patient volume increased by around 15%, or 100-150 visits a week. 

Not only did this fill provider schedules and boost revenue, but it also allowed the practice to give more consistent care and help more patients achieve their treatment goals.

DSO dropped from 35-45 days on average to 14-20. And the business also saw a month-over-month downward trend in the A/R over 90 days down to 4-6%.
