Whole Body Health Physical Therapy is a 15-provider practice with 5 locations, based in Portland, Oregon. CEO and physical therapist Bryan Lang recently spoke with us about why they chose Prompt and how the experience changed his opinion about what a PT EMR can do for a practice.

In addition to consolidating and simplifying how the practice ran, Prompt also provided a new level of visibility into actionable metrics, such as reimbursement per visit and staff productivity. This comprehensive, real-time data has made “a world of difference” for running the practice.
As the practice owner, Bryan’s favorite Prompt feature has been the automated waitlist filler. It has helped the practice battle cancellations and fill 50% of vacant appointments, which “is a lot for us” Bryan said. Enabling patients to schedule online has also been a huge contributor to the business. After switching to Prompt, overall visits to the practice increased by 25%.
As patient volume has grown, the staff has been able to run at all-time efficiency levels without needing to overhire. Prompt has streamlined the team’s work and allowed operational costs to level off, while revenue has steadily climbed. “That’s how you get more profit,” Bryan said.
“Not only are we getting more people in the door,” Bryan said, “We’re actually retaining patients longer.” This has resulted in a 10% increase in POC completion. Patients are more consistently achieving the treatment results they’re seeking.
These successful treatments, paired with the great experience of working at a more efficient clinic, has not only improved immediate revenue but kept positive reviews flowing to help attract future patients. Bryan says Prompt’s online review gathering feature played a big role also, and made this process easier and more successful than he’s ever seen.
